Ram's Horn

Early in the day we did a radio interview for the college station here. During the course of the interview we each managed to say the word "fuck" more than once. Not a big deal, except the word is one of the words you can't say on American radio. We met Joby today, who later went on to be Jimmy Pop's girlfriend and the inspiration for "Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny" and "Three Point One Four". When we met her, she was actually insulted by us. Being a college bred feminist, she was offended by our language, subject matter, and lyrics.

G-Spot

I remember this night because of the fight that broke out outside after our show. I still don't know what happened, but Evil Jared wound up chasing some guys down with Daddy Long Legs and beating the crap out of them. Like all other G-Spot shows, this one was hot and sweaty.

A.K.A. Club

Our managers/record label have been working on some things. Apparently they're bringing in a friend of theirs, Daniel Glass, to help us out. We had a meeting with him tonight and he's got big plans for us. He thinks he can get us signed to a major label. We're all a bit excited about the prospect of it all, but we'll learn soon enough, just how shitty that can be.

Woxall House Party

Yet another party in Woxall. Drunk people. Naked people. Evil Jared eating animals. Huge crowds inside the living room rocking out to Bloodhound Gang. Free cigarettes. The game of Whizz Hunter. Deabuchery everywhere. Its the same everytime, just bigger and a lot more chaotic.

Pozo Lounge

We've got a record out and a label backing us, yet the only time we play in clubs, its in New York. I've been trying to get us shows in Philadelphia, but no one will have us. The guy at the Khyber Pass is pissed at us, because we covered all of his shows flyers with Bloodhound Gang posters, so he refuses to give us a show.

Lucker's Hut

Lucker is a friend of the band. Lucker's parent's are rich. They owned this huge house, but bought a new one. So they left Lucker in charge of the old house, while they tried to sell it. Lucker came up with the brilliant plan to throw giant house parties in the empty house. We got to play at them. Lucker's house was always a good time. Lots of beer and lots of people. You might wonder where some of the lines in "You're Pretty When I'm Drunk" come from, well, here's your answer. Yes, there were episodes of toliet-seat macing. Yes, people did whizz in beer cups.

The Spiral

Wow, we're touring, we've got an E.P. (Dingleberry Haze) out in stores... I feel like a rockstar. Haha. Funny how your perception changes day to day. I look back on shows like this and cringe, yet at the time, they were the greatest shows in the history of rock and roll as far as I was concerned. This show is the first ever appearance of Brett (now our manager and international music mogul).

G-Spot

The G-Spot was a garage below my friend Sef and Weller's apartment. They had these great shows there and the G-Spot was known in Kutztown University for being a wild place. I remember being so hot and sweaty at this show and while we were all inside playing and getting drunk, it snowed. When we finished we all went outside, because it was so hot and everyone was ready to pass out. The snow was like heaven that night, just so cold that it was a huge relief from being inside this tiny garage.

Woxall House Party

This was my first ever show with Bloodhound Gang. After Todd The D.J. had quit during a rehearsal, I was asked to join as the new D.J. of the band. I didn't know how to D.J. at all, but that didn't matter. Years later, we would admit in interviews that I never D.J.ed a show at all, I was just back their faking it and I was mainly there for back up vocals, nothing more. I did know where every scratch in every song was though. For those of you that aren't from "back in the day" as some people would say, let me explain.

C.B.G.B.

Apparently Jimmy Pop had spoken to a guy who wanted to sign them and this was a showcase sort of show for Bloodhound Gang. The guy, Avery Lipman (now our manager and owner of Republic Records), had seen the cover to The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack To Hitler's Handicapped Helpers in someone's office at Sony (they had it on their "Wall Of Shame") and thought it looked interesting. Him and his brother, Monte Lipman, had just started a label, Cheese Factory Records, and were looking for a new band.
