Bloodhound Gang invited me to this show as a roadie (basically so I could get in for free), by this point I was doing odd jobs for them, mainly maintaining their mailing lists and doing secretarial type stuff. I think they dubbed me "The President Of The Fan Club", but at this point there weren't that many fans to preside over. This show was mainly about getting drunk and watching my favorite band.

I didn't attend this show, so as usual, we'll have to rely on Jimmy Pop's word of what happened. Stay tuned.

This was a show put together by some of my friends who belonged to the group Refuse And Resist. They were a political organization, that I think still exists. They decided to put on a show to help raise awareness for Mumia Abu Jamal, the Philadelphia writer and M.O.V.E. supporter who was jailed for killing a cop. Rage Against the Machine did a lot of work for him when they got bigger (they were just starting around this time).

This show will always remain clear in my head. By this point my band, Uncle Otto's Truck had set up quite a few of these Group Motion shows and things were going well. On a good weekend, we brought in about 400 to 600 bucks, which when you're young is a good thing. This was to be our last show at Group Motion and one of the final shows ever for Uncle Otto's Truck, little did I know I would soon be joining the Bloodhound Gang and where it would take me over the next few years. During the Bloodhound Gang set, it was quite dark in the room and at one point as the lights hit the crowd I remember thinking, "damn, there's a lot of people here and a lot of them are holding liquor in their hands."

This is the first show I ever booked with Bloodhound Gang. My band at the time, Uncle Otto's Truck had rented out a small hall in downtown Philly to do shows at and we invited Bloodhound Gang to play. I remember Spirit Assembly played, at the time they were a favorite of mine (from Lancaster, Pennsylvania). It's hard to remember much about these shows, 'cause I was running them.

Woxall New Year's Eve Bash

This is the first time I ever saw the Bloodhound Gang live, well, almost. Jimmy Pop and Daddy Long Legs invited me to come see them in a place called Woxall. Of course, at this point in my life, I knew nothing of Woxall, funny how things change. I remember walking up to the house with my friends and spotting a tall guy, wearing a "Hot Rod" t-shirt and a kilt. I asked him if this was the place and he said yes. He introduced himself as Evil Jared. Little did I know I would come to be friends with him through the years and understand exactly why they called him "Evil".

Lincoln High School

This is one of those shows that I didn't make it to. Jimmy Pop has told me the story of this one for years, mainly because of two things. First, a teacher from his old middle school was there. He apparently had been transferred to Lincoln High because he liked to soap up little white boys in the shower.

I remember some friends of mine told me that they were going to go see our friends, Bloodhound Gang, play tonight about thirty minutes away from Norristown (where I lived) in Frazer.
